The Vault in the Townsend Historical Society’s Reed House is undergoing an Inventory. In the process we are rediscovering some interesting stories and items we plan to share with you. These treasures of Townsend’s history will be posted periodically on the THS webpage to feed your historical interest.

We want to thank all those who have gone before us to protect, store, and list the contents in the vault. Records continue to be added to our computer program, which will make it easier to have complete records of our collection and to locate items in the vault.
